Video: Climbing Gasherbrum I In Winter
So what's it like to climb an 8000 meter peak in winter? The video below will definitely provide some insights. This was released a few days back by the Polish team currently attempting the first winter ascent of Gasherbrum I, an 8080 meter (26,509 ft) monster in Pakistan's Karakoram range. The team is currently in BC, where they are sitting out the bad weather, so presumably that gave them plenty of time to edit and upload this video.
