Video: Beautiful Iceland Caught In Timelapse Once Again
Looking for an escape to a land that is almost too magical for words? Then checkout this video that was shot in Iceland, capturing some spectacular landscapes in timelapse. The music that accompanies the shots is wonderful as well, giving off an almost Game of Thrones like vibe. The five minute short film will leave you mesmerized for sure.

Video: Frozen In Timelapse
This gorgeous video was shot over the past few weeks in Iceland, where the frozen landscapes make great subjects for timelapse videos. Between the starkly beautiful countryside and the eerie images of the Northern Lights, this is one not to be missed.

Video: The Weight Of Mountains
This short film does an excellent job of sharing the lifespan of a mountain, including how they are built and over the millennia are eventually destroyed. It was shot in Iceland, giving us some beautiful landscapes to ogle along the way, making it both breathtaking to look at and educational at the same time.

Video: Mission Iceland Trekking
Here's a wonderful video of an adventure that two brothers shared as they trekked 115-miles across Iceland, exploring some of that country's amazing landscapes in the process. It is a beautifully shot short film that will leave you longing for a hike like this of your own, while also touching on some of the sensitive environmental issues that Iceland faces. Thanks to filmmaker Hank Leukart for sharing this with me. Very well done sir!

Video: Waterfalling In Love With Iceland
Lets wrap up the week with another beautiful timelapse video from Iceland. The landscapes there never fail to amaze and no matter how many photos or videos I see from that country, the more I'm captivated by its beauty. I really do need to get there at some point. It looks like such a wild and untamed place, and this particular video does an exceptional job of capturing that spirit.

Video: Beyond Nature - Iceland Timelapse
All you really need to know about this video is that it is a timelapse film shot in Iceland. We already know how beautiful that country is and judging from past experiences, I'd say it is nearly impossible to make a bad timelapse video from the scenery there. If it is possible, this clip sure doesn't do anything to break the streak. Sit back and enjoy.

Video: Elemental Iceland
In order to create the video below, filmmaker Stian Rekdal traveled for more than 3000 miles across Iceland and shot over 40,000 photos. The result is a breathtaking look at an already breathtaking country. If this doesn't get you charged up for an Icelandic adventure, nothing will. Simply beautiful.

Video: Aurora Borealis Timelapse
There is no doubt that the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, is one of the most awe inspiring sights that you could ever hope to see. They are the result of charged particles from the solar winds striking the Earth's magnetic field in the upper atmosphere resulting in a light show that is unlike anything else found in nature. The video below was shot in Iceland and features some striking images of this phenomenon. It seems that the Northern Lights were specifically made for timelapse photography as well because they are breathtaking here. Enjoy!
