Video: Climbing Annapurna's South Face
Standing 8091 meters (26,545 ft) in height, Annapurna is "only" the 10th tallest mountain on the planet, although it just might be the most difficult to climb. Notorious for its bad weather and incredibly prone to avalanches, the peak is considered to be the deadliest on the planet. The video below gives you an indication of how beautiful and demanding the mountain can be, testing the skills of even the best climbers. Like K2, this is a mountaineers mountain, far from the crowds of Everest.
